EVENT REGULATIONS Wodecki Twist Festival 2025

GENERAL PROVISIONS
These regulations (hereinafter referred to as the “Regulations”) are issued pursuant to the provisions of the Act of March 20, 2009, on the Safety of Mass Events (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2023, item 616, hereinafter referred to as the “Mass Events Safety Act”), the provisions of the Civil Code, and other applicable legal provisions concerning mass events.
The Regulations are issued by the organizer of the event named: Wodecki Twist Festival 2025, which will take place in Kraków from June 13 to 15, 2025 (hereinafter also referred to as the “Event” or “Festival”) and will consist of a series of concerts and events in various locations. Each of the aforementioned events, taking place on individual days, is hereinafter referred to as a “Sub-Event.” The organizer of the entire Event and each Sub-Event is the Zbigniew Wodecki Foundation, with its registered office in Kraków at ul. Św. Sebastiana 4/9, 31-049 Kraków, KRS 0000693956 (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”).
The Regulations apply to all persons present at the Festival venue during its duration (“Festival Area”). Every person present in the Festival Area during the Event is required to comply with these Regulations. The purchase of a ticket (for paid events) or entry to the Festival Area (for free events) signifies acceptance of these Regulations.
The purpose of the Regulations is to ensure the safety of persons and property, as well as the security of the Event, by defining the rules of entry, conduct, and use of the Festival Area and its infrastructure. The Regulations also establish the conditions for participation in the Event by regulating the rights and obligations of Event Participants.
TICKETS
Tickets are sold exclusively online via the Eventim service at https://www.eventim.pl, within the scope designated by the Organizer and under the terms specified by the service, as described in the regulations available at https://www.eventim.pl/help/terms/.
Tickets are non-exchangeable. Pursuant to Article 38(12) of the Act of May 30, 2014, on Consumer Rights (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 2759, as amended), ticket refunds (withdrawal from the contract) are not permitted, except in specific cases described below.
Ticket refunds are allowed in the following cases:
- Change of date, venue, or significant changes to the program of a festival Sub-Event.
The ticket holder may return the ticket: - Under the terms specified by the Eventim service, in accordance with its regulations.
Resale of tickets on auctions, bidding platforms, or in any other manner indicating a profit-making intent is prohibited. Any public offering of ticket transfers, including as prizes in contests, lotteries, promotional sales, or other giveaways—even if free of charge—is also prohibited. A ticket may be immediately invalidated in case of resale, attempted resale, copying, or other prohibited actions, without the right to a refund.
CANCELLATION OR CHANGE OF EVENT DATE
- Decisions regarding the cancellation of the Event, changes to its date, or refunds for tickets purchased by Participants are made by the Organizer under the terms specified in these Regulations and in accordance with applicable law.
- In case of Event cancellation or date change, the Organizer will notify Participants who purchased tickets via email (sent to the address provided during ticket purchase) or through the Eventim system, as well as on the Organizer’s website and social media.
- If the Event is canceled, refunds will be issued using the original payment method, as specified by the Eventim service.
- In case of a date change, Participants may choose to:
a) Keep their ticket and attend the Event on the new date, or
b) Request a refund.
The Organizer will communicate the procedure for selecting an option via email or the Eventim system.
- If the Participant chooses a refund, the refund will be processed under the same conditions as in the case of cancellation.
- If the Participant keeps the ticket, it remains valid regardless of any subsequent price changes.
- If no choice is made within the specified deadline, the Participant is deemed to have chosen to keep the ticket.
- In case of cancellation or date change, the Organizer is not liable for any compensation beyond the ticket price refund.
ENTRY AND PARTICIPATION IN THE EVENT
- The Festival includes both paid and free (open) events. The type of each Sub-Event will be clearly indicated in the Festival program and on the Organizer’s website.
- Only persons with a valid ticket, invitation, or accreditation issued by the Organizer may enter paid (ticketed) events.
- A ticket entitles the holder to a single entry to a Sub-Event. The ticket serves as individual permission from the Organizer, which may be revoked at any time for security reasons.
- The Organizer is responsible for ensuring Participant safety, and Participants must comply with venue rules and security personnel instructions (if present). Security personnel operate under the Act of August 22, 1997, on the Protection of Persons and Property.
- The Organizer reserves the right to:
a) Deny entry to a ticket holder for security reasons;
b) Eject any attendee who disrupts public order, behaves aggressively, or violates these Regulations or applicable laws. - The following items are prohibited on the Event premises:
- Laser pointers, alcohol, and illegal substances.
- Weapons, explosives, pyrotechnics, flammable materials.
- Professional recording equipment (e.g., cameras with interchangeable lenses, zoom >6x, tripods, selfie sticks). Personal photos are allowed only if they do not obstruct others.
- The Organizer must refuse entry to:
a) Persons under court orders banning attendance at mass events.
b) Individuals visibly under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or similar substances.
c) Persons carrying weapons, dangerous objects, explosives, alcohol, or drugs.
d) Individuals behaving aggressively or posing a threat to public safety. - The Organizer is not responsible for personal belongings brought into the Event.
- Restricted areas include: stages, backstage, production zones, artist dressing rooms, and technical areas.
- Participants may be exposed to prolonged high noise levels, which could cause hearing damage.
- The Organizer notes that the Event (and Sub-Events) will be recorded, and some may be broadcast live or replayed. Participation implies consent to the free use of the Participant’s image for documentary, reporting, advertising, and promotional purposes.
COMPLAINTS
- Complaints must be submitted in writing within 14 days of the Event’s conclusion, sent to the Organizer’s postal address. The complaint must include the complainant’s name, contact details, reason for the complaint, and requested resolution.
- The Organizer will process complaints within 14 days of receipt.
- The complaint procedure is voluntary and not a prerequisite for legal claims.
- The data controller is the Zbigniew Wodecki Foundation. Personal data is processed for complaint resolution. Providing data is voluntary but necessary for a response. Legal basis: legitimate interest in handling complaints. Participants have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict their data, object to processing, and file complaints with supervisory authorities.
CHANGES TO THE REGULATIONS
- The Regulations are available at http://wodeckitwistfestiwal.pl.
- Unregulated matters fall under the Mass Events Safety Act, the Act on the Protection of Persons and Property, and the Civil Code.
- The Regulations take effect on February 17, 2025.
- The Organizer reserves the right to amend these Regulations:
a) To ensure proper Event execution and Participant safety.
b) To correct errors or oversights.
c) To comply with legal changes.
d) Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the Organizer’s control.
Changes will be announced on the Organizer’s website.
